The Moss R&D team has designed a custom air conditioning system exclusively for your 1962-76 MGB.
Open air motoring on a hot day will be much more enjoyable and less draining with cool air flowing through the cabin instead of road heat wearing you down. The Moss Motors air conditioning system will make your driving experience more comfortable whether your top is up or down without sacrificing drivability or interior space.
Under the hood the Moss Motors air conditioning system looks factory installed, and is completely reversible. Modern system components are efficient and include an R134a rotary compressor with electric clutch, aluminum condenser with an integrated thermostatically controlled fan. Details like CNC brackets, pre-built wiring harnesses and mandrel bent steel lines ensure a perfect fit. The system can be installed on MGBs with or without smog pumps, by a professional mechanic in 8-10 hours or do it yourself over a weekend in about 16-20 hours. Cars with generators must be converted to use an alternator to use this kit.
Inside, the Moss Motors air conditioning system maximizes interior legroom with a custom evaporator box and features 4 under dash vents and a 3 speed blower motor. All wiring, hardware and brackets required are included, as well as complete illustrated installation instructions. Vintage Competition Seatbelt

Quick release buckle, keeps you firmly, yet comfortably, in your seat. I have a set in my Sunbeam and love 'em! Mounting hardware included. These are sold individually. These belts are suitable for installation in virtually any British Sports car. Save for a small change in dimensions, the design of the quick release buckle has remain unchanged since the 1950’s. The manufacturer of the buckles went from a 3 inch wide design to the current 2.5 inch wide design in 1999.

TR Front Axle Reinforcing Kit: TR2-4A & TR6

MGB Supercharger Systems

The new MGB supercharger system uses the same Eaton positive displacement roots-type supercharger found on contemporary OE applications such as Mercedes Benz and Jaguar. We installed one in our MGB GT here at Brit Bits and love it! In spite of its modern origin, Moss was careful to design the system to look like it was a factory-installed option that complements the classic MG image.
Moss engineers designed an intake manifold that provides equal airflow, pressure and fuel mixture to each cylinder. By optimizing the distribution in the manifold for each cylinder, you can run more boost pressure without the chance of harmful detonation. The Moss supercharger system produces 7.5-8.25 PSI of boost at sea level. On our otherwise stock test car, that almost doubled the rear wheel horsepower. Bolted on to a stock engine you may expect a HP increase of 40% at the flywheel. Click Here to view Dyno Sheet details.
The Supercharger kit is very complete and includes a 4-rib serpentine belt drive system, new cast iron water pump, a set of colder NGK BPR7ES sparkplugs and a high-flow K&N air filter. The 1968-74.5 kit also includes a new Lucas high output alternator.
The 1965-67 kit fits 5 main engines with generator. For these vehicles we also offer an alternator conversion kit which includes a new high output alternator, four rib pulley, all connectors and full instructions for converting the car from positive to negative ground. The alternator has more durable bearings than the generator and will offer greater performance.

Please note: These kits are designed to be installed on engines that are in good condition with the original compression ratio and correctly operating distributor and fuel system. Increased compression due to block or head modification, worn distributor components, or a weak fuel pump can contribute to damaging detonation under load.
The Big Boost Pulley Upgrade Kit should only be installed on low compression engines or those where head modifications allow a higher boost without detonation.

Rubber Gloves

I tried more than a dozen different kinds of gloves before I found these. I use them all the time, I'm in and out of the shop all day long, I can be under the hood one minute and the next on the phone and looking online or through manuals. Thin enough to do small tasks with confidence, great for painting and can sometimes be reused. Two things I've found that these gloves don't do well- one is in a cleaning tank with degreaser and the second is with jobs pertaining to bearings(wheel bearings, main and rod bearings) where you really need the ability to feel small tolerances or roughness. 100 large, latex, ambidextrous gloves per box.
